noah’s lark
at about 2 o’clock on wednesday morning i noticed out of the corner of my eye that something very large was obscuring the view from my window. it looked like noah’s ark, complete with a giraffe on the bow. for a moment i seriously considered the possibility that i was imagining it. luckily toby sterling, a journalist living nearby, saw it and photographed it.

mallorca
mallorca is extremely wet and cloudy. the forecast for the next 11 days is wet and cloudy, except for a day and a half. i don´t think i´ll be walking the hills.
time to catch up on emails.

bhante ayuh …
Death is not an event in life: we do not live to experience death. If we take eternity to mean not infinite temporal duration but timelessness, then eternal life belongs to those who live in the present.
